In 2020, Artisans for Good founder Becca Dodmead had a catastrophic injury during surgery that led to life changing obstacles. Previously working as a nurse, she was able to get the care she needed with both crowdfunding completed by close friends as well as her own fundraising efforts with handmade goods. When able, she helped others in fundraising ventures, and gifted hand-crafted bracelets for patient pick-me-ups. This all led to a bigger idea—taking the beauty of art and using it to help others.

The Artisans for Good mission is to use available resources to provide fundraising and emotional support to patients. Our vision is a world in which those battling illness of any kind have the financial and emotional support that they need.
