Art meets action for good
Artisans for Good was born from a deeply personal journey. In 2020, founder Becca Dodmead faced a life-changing medical crisis that reshaped her path. By her side through it all was her best friend and loyal companion, Oscar— “Ambassador for Good.”
Drawing on her background as a nurse and her love of handmade artistry, Becca began creating and selling handcrafted goods to help fund her recovery. The generosity she received through crowdfunding inspired a larger vision: using the power of art to uplift others during life’s toughest moments.
Though Oscar has since passed, his spirit of comfort, joy, and unwavering loyalty continues to inspire our mission. What began with small acts—crafting bracelets for patients, supporting friends’ fundraisers—has grown into a mission-driven nonprofit that turns creativity into compassion.
Today, every handmade piece helps bring hope, healing, and support to those in need.
The Artisans for Good mission is to use available resources to provide fundraising and emotional support to patients. Our vision is a world in which those battling illness of any kind have the financial and emotional support that they need.
